“Kindersportarena” was a German camp taking place in the eastern part of Germany in a region where children seldom learn anything about Jesus. Therefore, the main goal of the camp was that the children see how coaches take their sport seriously and live their daily life with Jesus.

The SRS Sportpark, located in Altenkirchen, Germany is a state-of-the-art training facility for athletes to come and enjoy a special environment conducive to all participants in a variety of sports. In May, we partnered with the 3D institute to hold coaches training sessions in 4 different countries and engaging 200 coaches. The sessions were held in The University of Malta, Cluj-Napoca, Romania, Prague, Czech Republic, and Budapest, Hungary. Eight young coaches/players sent through Christians in Sport served alongside a summer school program in Malta for five days. The 120 kids ages 5-14 tried different sports and were introduced to four different values integrated into a sport. The partnership will continue as we come alongside these locals in value integrated sport development.

In partnership with five different entities, a 5-day camp sponsored by Gemeinde Glemseck was created and took place including an average of 25-30 children per day ages 6-12. Children were taught how to play games/sports and introduced to concepts of the bible through play and values. For the first time, our team served alongside a local pastor for a sports ministry opportunity with a 5th level professional football team and its feeder program in Bonn, Germany. Three coaches offered drills and team opportunities to improve the level of football.

A team of coaches went to Hévís, Hungary for the second time to serve alongside a local church. Our coaches supported a local basketball club for a 4-day summer camp aimed at helping local basketball athletes develop in their sport. The campers also participated in a Complete Athlete station workouts including one that shared values.
