“Kindersportarena” is a camp taking place in the eastern part of Germany in a region where children seldom learn anything about Jesus. Therefore, the main goal of the camp was that the children see how coaches take their sport seriously and life their daily life with Jesus. The camp took place for the 11th time this summer with 40 children aged 8-13 participating. The children learned about the bible in events during the evenings. As the eastern part of Germany is not economically strong, many children grow up in poor families. The “Kindersportarena” has low attendance fees which gives many kids the chance to participate. Profit is not a goal of the camp. The camp is financed mainly by donations.
