A day around the world

“A Day around the world” was a multi-sport participation camp that included intercultural knowledge of three countries: Mexico, Germany, and the USA. It was a three day camp held in Malta, and 62 kids ages 6-12 participated. One child came only for the last day, but shared afterwards how much he liked the camp and how thankful he was. The camp was part of a summer school and local PE teachers were there to support as well. The camp for young kids was modeled to show how one can be organized to involve experiences of different sports. Furthermore, during water breaks, the following values were introduced and discussed: truth, respect and worth.
